Camaro RS

I don't know mucha bout it, but I'd like to know...

Was it made after 98?
Is it a V6, V8, or either?
Whats the difference inbetween the RS and a regular Camaro?
Does it cost anymore?

Re: Camaro RS

www.camarosource.ca

you can find all the answers there.

4th gen (93-02) all RS models were V6

3rd gen (82-92) RS had V6 and optional V8

Too bad..I think the 4thgen RS look nice with that body kit they got on em, would be alot better with the LS1 but then it'd be a Z28..so who knows.

Re: Camaro RS

well, the people at gm decided to do away with multiple engine choices, so the engine became the way to differenciate the models. Id like to see a return to the 302 in the Z28, a 6.0L LS2 in the SS and a 327 or 350 in the RS. however with the Z28's 302 having a hp rating between the RS and the SS, but having a honest to god, better suspension than the other two, aimed at road course racing. perhaps even tuned at the german track of nurburgring (sp) like the vette, cts-v, and cobalt SS.

I was hoping to see the same thing as you, 89. It basicly puts the Maros back to what they started out to do, go back to roots because its suppost to be its 40th aniversary and pray to god if it comes back looks alot better than the stang.

A retro 1st or 3rd gen would be nice like the 05 stang, more ppl want a new mustang becasue it looks like the older one

Who to assume the chevy will retro the camaro tring to be like ford. Any way I heard Cobalt mention....That is the ricest looking chevy ever on to top that off they gave it the SS badge slap in the face.

Hey, but at least it's keeping chevy up to par with the other rice out there. Now i see a cobalt on almost every corner. I say chevy/gm have made a great move with this one, might be able to see a maro within the next years if they keep it up.

OOOOOOMMMMF!!!!! Somebody pull that sword out of my back!

Kind of weird... seems people either like 1st and 3rd gens or 2nd and 4th. Obviously I'm a 2nd & 4th, you other guys are plain old blind.

I'd take one from either gen, but if i had to choose one out of all of them, any year, i would take an 89 IROC 350.
