00 Cav Intermitant Starting/Stalling issue.

I have a 2000 Cavalier 2.2l, 4cyl. And it has intermittant problem that only occurs when the outside temperature is hot. It starts fine in the morning, but once the outside temp warms up, sometimes it will not start, it will turn over but no start. Sometimes i can get it started after a few tries, and other times it takes a while. Also once started occasionally when driving down the road or idling at a light or parked, it will stall without warning. It has been doing this off and on for three plus months now. I have checked the spark plugs, removed the throttle body and sprayed some carb cleaner in, put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the tank and i have also replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, air filer, and spark plug wires. I am running out of ideas. Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: 00 Cav Intermitant Starting/Stalling issue.

Clean your IAC valve.
Also make sure you do not have a vacuum leak. When you removed the throttle body you may have cured the orginal issue and created a new one at the mounting gasket so check that one closely. Good Luck.
