TCC solonoid

Can someone tell me where the TCC clutch solonoid plug is located on a 1995 2.3 quad 4?

I do believe its inside the bellhousing, to get at it you have to pull the transmission out. Anyone know for sure?

To clarify I am looking for the electrical connector that feeds it so that I can unplug it. I am having a little problem that seems to be tranny related and I wanted to unplug it to see if the TCC clutch is the problem.

What kind of problem are you having with the TCC? On my '93 Grand Am it was stalling after driving for a few minutes over 45mph and it wouldn't come back on for 5-20 minutes. I put the shifter in "2" to prevent the TCC from engaging and stalling problem went away ( although the engine revs higher than normal.)

Re: TCC solonoid

Tcc solenoid is located behind the trans side case cover. Trans does NOT have to be pulled to replace it. The elec plug is on the LH side of trans.
