Introduction - Again

My name is Chris and if you have been following the Pro/Mod contest rules, you know who I am....sorta.

I live in Western North Carolina (about 12 miles NW of Asheville) with my wife and three pups.

I am part owner of Top End Miniatures. We are currently specializing in aftermarket resin bodies, chassis, engines, and parts for modelers that want to build a replica of today's Pro/Modified cars. We currently have a few products but there will be more in a very short time. Our web address is www.topendminiatures.com and you are welcome to ask me any questions you may have about this class. In the future we plan to expand the line of our products to include T/F Harleys (probably 1/12th scale) and more for the sportsman class of drag racing.

As you might expect, I am also an avid fan of good ol' American drag racing as well as the Aussie version of the sport. I have been involved with the sport for about 35+ years now and with TEM for about 2 1/2 years.

Thats about me in a nutshell, other than I am an old geezer.

Later all,
Chris

Good to see another NC'er on here. I've been wanting to build a Pro Modified for awhile, so I hope to place an order soon.

Re: Introduction - Again

Welcome aboard!
If it wasn't for the complex paint job I'd do the Green Goblin of Mats Eriksson (top left on your site), my old neighbour in central Sweden. I've followed all his dragrace cars from the first M/S Falcon to the Goblin-machine. There was a huge two-part article in one of our domestic magazines on that particular car. Might have to get me one of those anyway, well time will tell.
Now, let's see some of your stuff from the workbench!

Greetings from a warm Stockholm!
Niclas

Sorry I haven't responded lately but I've been a bit busy with orders.

Niclas, I tried sending you an email but it bounced back to me. To answer your question, yes we will be doing the graphics for the Goblin car. The body is almost finished. Just a matter of time. BTW.....you may not believe this but I haven't built a model of any sort since the late 70s. I make but I don't build them.....yeah I know, that is weird

Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome. I will try to post more in the future.

Later.

That's strange!?
I got the email to my hotmail-adress but maybe it was my tele2-adress that bounced for you, it has been a bit strange lately.
Well, count me in for a Green Goblin as Mats is one of my childhood heroes it's a must have in the collection.
No build since the 70's....wow! I go crazy if I don't get to build my plastic kits.

Thank you for your reply.
Niclas
