Question about resin ?
Has anyone ever used Bondo fiberglass resin be used to cast model parts in molds? and if you did how did it turn out.

Not the hot ticket. Kicks off very hard, usually has lots of bubbles. Not sure about shrinkage... - Mark

Re: Question about resin ?
I've seen it done, but the results were moderate. I'd stick to casting resin.

Yes, you can. But the finer higher end body fillers will work better. Especially when it comes to feather edging... - Mark |
