Trans Fluid question

Is ther any problem mixing Dexron with synthetic tranny fluid? I want to do a pan drop and change the filter but I'd really like to run synthetic. I know the pan drop only empties 40 -60% of the fluid so would I hurt anything adding syn? I plan on doing tthis again next year since I average 30k year. I figure eventually it would be all synthetic.
