Hello to all. I have a 1997 cavalier the check engine light is on I had it scaned at a dealership and it says the car is idleling higher then expected I have checked for vaccum leaks, replaced the throttle position sensor, and the idle air control but the light stays on even though I have driven over 50 miles any ideas?

disconnect the neg battery cable for at least 10 min and then try it, that should clear the computer.

Check for a vaccum leak somewhere... Could also be your IAC.

Ussually a vacuum leak cause lower idle and makes like it wants to stall out.
