Car towed, now my gearshift messed up

Hey guys, I had some bad luck this week. Got my car towed, and they must have dragged it backwards onto the flatbed god only knows how they got it off, without ever being in neutral. Anyways its an eclipse gt auto. Now anytime the transmission shifts to a higher gear past 2k rpms, the whole car jerks and shudders. Almost feels like its missing or slipping. This only happens when it shifts, its fine when Im in 3rd or 4th and the rpms gradually rise above 2k. What could be wrong? Thanks

That sucks. Definetly sounds like the tranny is going if it is starting to slip. Hopefully you called and ripped someone a new asshole

That really bites, tow truck ppl say they're not responsible because damage is not external. Could it be something else, besides the whole tranny?

Stupid B*tch at post office took off with my whole keyset by accident, I realized too late...saw her driving off. Couldnt get any info on her.

Tow drivers here wont tow cars like eclipse usually. There are too low.

I had no choice, dealer said the key had a chip so the car HAD to be there, in order for them to make a key

did they charge you for the key? I lost mine twice and never paid anything.

Its not under warranty..so I had to pay $150 for one key.

I didnt notice the messed up shifting until I left dealership..besides I was too broke after paying for key and towing anyway.

Aren't towing companies supposed to tow cars in neutral? So if they fucked up on that and screwed up your transmission then shouldn't they be responsible whether or not its external damage?

Thats just stupid.
