about to inheret a bug

so im about to inheret a 2001 sport model from my mom (she cutting me a hell of a deal cuz she wants a new mini cooper) and its approaching 70k miles. its been meticulously maintained and driven by a 50 year old woman with a light foot.

but it being a turbo engine and all, id like to know if there is anything i should be on the lookout for. whats going to wear out on me? what will i need to replace soon? etc.

Re: about to inheret a bug

ok, so its been taken in for all of its scheduled maintenence and apparently the timing belt and all that looks keen and doesnt need to be replaced yet. BS?

and ive heard that the turbos are only good for about 75,000 miles before they start to go, is that true?
