Ask them the price and then, if passing, ask them what the part number is. That usually works for me. One other thing -- I believe these are just LED lights. And based on what you said, it is split into 2 halves. I have found that in the past, something as simple as a loose wire or connection can cause a failure like this. You MIGHT want to take it down and see if you can find the problem yourself. Just an idea. Take Care,
