Posi-traction??

Does anyone know if the 80's through 90's Caprice had positraction?? I know earlier Chevy's (1960's and 1970's) had positraction available. If it did have positraction, does anyone know the SPID code on the trunk for it?

Thanks

What is the difference between posi-traction and limited-slip? I've heard they're different, but I don't know why.

Re: Posi-traction??

Posi-traction was I think given the name in the brochures in the 60's and is a name that has stuck. Limited-Slip differential is what you'll find in the SPID books and what the manuals call it.
