I have a 1989 Dodge Ram Charger. How do I reset the "maintenance light?" Any help will be greatly appreciatied.

You might try taking the battery cables off the battery, and hold them together for 30 seconds, then reconnect. That is supposed to reset the computer.

Then the computer reset may be in order.
You could always check the owner's manual, see if there's a procedure listed. I hate taking a vehicle in, paying $60 for them to hit a switch.

take it over to autozone and have them clear it for you, they'll do it for free
