Installing Air Intake

HEY ,
I NEED HELP PEOPLE,
WHEN I TOOK OF THE STOCK TUBING,
IT HAD THREE PIPES CONNECTED TO IT, ONE WAS A HARD METAL PEICE CONNECTED TO THE ENGINE AND THE OTHER WAS A RUBBER ONE AND THE LAST WAS A SENSOR. NOW MY NEW POLISHED TUBE ONLY HAS TWO HOLES.
HOW DO I PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER........

to answer the question. slide the rubber part over the metal pipe going to the valve cover and also slide it over the nipple on the intake. Plug the sensor back into the intake.

YOU PLUG THAT THINGY INTO THAT OTHER THING W/ THE THING ON IT AND THEN WITH THE METAL THINGY YOU STICK IT ON THE RUBBER THINGY WITH THE THINGYS BUT MAKE SURE NOT TO TOUCH THAT ONE THINGY WITH THE THINGYS ON IT!

but there is still a rubber hose, the stock hose that doesnt have any place to put it, what should i do with that one?
i put the sensor back and i also put the metal valve one into the body on the pipe intake.
is that right?

There shoud be like..2 holes on the intake. 1 of them is a little metal piece that sticks out and the other is just a hole, usually w/ a little rubber grommet-type-thing on it. There is a black silicon/rubber/whatever-the-hell hose that's like..on the back-side of the valve cover. Stick that on the metal shaft. Then, you hsould have removed a sensor from the stock intake. So...stick it in the other hole.
