Should I Buy a Used 2003 Windstar???

I think I am getting a pretty good deal, it's an LX model. Doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but we are in need of extra room because of our newest addtion to the family. Are they safe and reliable?

They are as reliable as any domestic minivan. You get a lot of van for the money with a windstar. They are large (probably the largest), roomy, comfortable and decent on gasoline. Hywy mileage with my 2001 avgs 23mpg. Oh yeah... they rank high on safety!
G/luck

Re: Should I Buy a Used 2003 Windstar???

Any used car is a risk if you're not in tight with the previous owner. However. The information I've gleened from reading this forum for a year has made me unafraid to buy any Windstar. Go for it.

Opinion..for your purchase

My wifes uncle sold us ours...I have to say I was less than excited about it. I have fallen in love. I has the best visabilty, and drives like a car, not a bus. We took out our middle row seat, and the interior is huge! I have had some problems but no more than any other car. The engine they use for that is one of the most reliable...I think its an old tracktor engine!

I have a kid and a big dog, so its worked out great!

good luck!
