1992 Camry Air Duct Problem

My 1992 Camry 5Dr Station Wagon started to stall when started, I replaced the fuel pump and it did the same thing but stayed on a bit longer

I then looked around and noticed the Air Duct had a tiny whole in it, put some tape on it and the car will now run, but I am not driving it because I need to replace the air duct

My question is, can anyone help me find an air duct for this model car?

OK, I'll take the bate. What air duct are you talking about? I am going to take a wild guess and say its the one between the air filter and the throttle body. If so, you can get one at the junk yard fairly cheap or go on line and find one (ebay).

Yes ....and I can't find one on Ebay or any junk yards....I've called every junk yard w/ in a 300 mile radius of me and not one has one that will fit my car

92-97 camry's are all the same for this part

Hello Kahiwahi, from what I understand the hose that runs between the air filter to the throttle body has a (small?) hole in it. you covered the hole with tape and the car ran good. You can't seem to find one at the local junkyards; the Toyota dealership would charge an arm and leg for the part. how about EBAY.. If you want to patch the hole with something stronger than tape take the part off the car and bring it to your local automotive parts store. I'm sure they'll help you pick out a product to patch the hose. You shouldn't have to replace the hose if it's a small hole in it. Good Luck. JOET/CAMRY
