98 integra 1.8L non vtec 4speed auto

I was driving home after my girlfriend just had our baby and my integra was starting to act up. I was like the car didnt want to shift out of second gear just kept reving up. I let off and it wouldnt shift out still???
Then about three houses away from my house the car stopped all together????? Not one gear would work R,D,3,2,1 it just reved like I was still in park. I tryed moving the car again after winter and it ran ok for about ten mins or right around the time the car got heated up then it did it again. It will move in gear after it has sat for a while the slips out completely again. any clue???????
