Search Keywords: Dexcool Dex-cool antifreeze

It states that the change interval for 94-95 is two years or 30000 mi.
Do you think that is to safeguard against any "green" coolant being left in there or is the 95-engine design not compatible with Dex-Cool.
I did a complete power flush and have been using it with exceptional results and had planned on going the with the extended interval.
I have a 95 Blazer W/4.3 engine
What do you suggest?

Yeah it's probably because the green was in there. Most of the 95s made after Memorial Day came with Dex-Cool from the factory. If I were you...I would have stayed with the green. As long as you keep an eye on it, keep it full, and have a good radiator cap, you should be able to go 3 - 4 years with the Dex-Cool. Go with a Stant Model 10230 or 11230 rad cap. Don't use the Stant Model 10231, it is designed like the faulty AC Delcos.

The reason I chose Dex-cool is for the low silicate.
That build up used to play heck on the pump shaft seals on Caterpillar diesels.
Thanks for the info on the caps, I was unaware of that and will change out.

Please deal with your inferiority complex and quest for attention somewhere else, I'm not amused and will not be drawn into your preschool antics.

Inferiority complex?

You are the tool that brought up that "you knew about the link first".

I could care less that you are NOT AMUSED.

You said "....just another sad attempt at taking credit for someone else's post."

Now if you have any credibility, you can back that up a bit with proof.

I am not going to just sit around and allow you to slam me.

Prove it, or shut up.

You are developing into quite the arrogant dick trying to somehow degrade me for some reason out of the blue.

No you are the tool that brought it up. You had to say something because you thought that I was posting advice that you gave.

Here are a couple examples that I found in about 10 seconds using 1 keyword. Everytime that I mention rad caps, you reply and try to make seem as though you were the one that told me about them. The only difference is this time I decided not to ignore your little self indulgent ego boost. I can find more examples just as easily as you can, just use your search button. Or just read a few of your posts...your need for attention is obvious. I come here because I enjoy helping people, you come here because you are an Ebully on a power trip. The people here aren't nice to you because they respect you, they are nice to you because they are afraid that you will ban them....just check out some of the other s-10 and blazer boards where everyone hangs out. This will be my last reply on this topic, because arguing with you is a pointless waste of time and it gives these help forums a bad image.

Re: DEX-COOL Engine Coolant Information

omg, who has the inferiority complex? I think you should take the same medicine you are shelling out there.

You know I was kidding there in those threads 100%.

You are now going into the realm of childish baby.

Learn to stop with the whining about something that is completely ridiculous and uncalled for.

You are just showing your lack of maturity and seeing you were the first person to insult me when I did nothing to you at all.

This is what I said:

"I can see the article I am showing people is being noticed."

Do you notice anything there that says anything about you? Does it discredit you? All I said is that I mentioned it a couple times and some people may have noticed it.

This is what you came back with:

"....just another sad attempt at taking credit for someone else's post."

That is a personal insult to me for no good reason. I never slammed you, so you slam me and you think you are justified?

You are the one that ruined this thread for no good reason. You have some sort of social condition that makes you think everyone is talking to you......there is medicine for that.

Thread's dead Zed.
