fuel line leaking
I have a 95 aurora. I noticed fuel is leaking out of the black lines by the air filter. Has anyone changed these? Is there a special connector that I need to purchase? Where was the replacement parts purchased from?
Well I noticed there was a recall for this issue. Since Oldsmobile is no more. Does anyone know if GM would do this recall on my car? Where did you get yours done? How can I go about getting this fixed from GM. Thanks for the help. |

This is covered under GM Product Safety Recall 04014C. It's free of charge at any GM dealer but they will most likely need to order your parts in. The parts to repair the 95 Aurora are different than 96 and 97. You might want to try a Caddy dealer since they will be more experienced with this recall; however, I used a chevy dealer and they did just fine. You will get a new stainless fuel rail plus all new fuel lines from the engine back to the fuel filter.
Here is a link to the instructions the dealers use (hope the link works): http://152.122.48.13/prepos/files/Ar...4V110-1815.PDF
