My 92 Si

Just thought I'd give everyone a chance to see my never-ending work in progress. The picture isn't that great, but the white is all painted on with a blue pearl on top of it.
Mods at this moment are:
AEM Adjustable Cam Gears, Venom Hi-Flow Fuel Pump, Weapon R Fuel Pressure Regulator, AEM Fuel Rail, AEM Cold Air Intake, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, Clutch Master Stage 2, AEM Underdrive Pulleys, Koyo Racing Radiator, ZEX 50 Shot Nitrous, Brembo Slotted/Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors, Tokico Adjustable Struts w/Springs, Strut Tower Bars (Front Top, Upper & Lower Rear)

As far as appearance goes the front is a VIS Octane, the rear is Black-Widow, sideskirts are Wings West (model?), VIS Invader Carbon Fiber Hood, Custom Roof-Scoop, Aluminum Spoiler (Brand, Model? Bought on ebay, your standard "way too big for this car" wing) Z3 Fenders

I'm working on getting everything I need to put a turbo on it at the moment, but it's rather difficult since nobody makes any turbo-related parts specifically for the H23, if anyone has any suggestions to help, it would be appreciated!

Re: My 92 Si

That looks pretty cool. Got any more pics? As far as the turbo goes, most H22 kits work for the H23.

I'll post more (hopefully better quality) pics tomorrow. I thought the H22 & the H23 should mostly be compatible, but I'm not sure if the manifolds are the same and what role, if any, the Vtec will affect the dynamics of the turbo kit as opposed to the non-Vtec. Physically, the engine bays are pretty much the same layout, right?

Re: My 92 Si

The mani will be different, so just get a H23 manifold and is you dont want to use a full H23 kit use the rest of the H22 stuff. VTEC wont affect it.

Re: My 92 Si

www.turbokits.com has kits specifically for the H23, and even if you don't want the kit, it gives a list of everything in it, so you can use that as a reference if you want.

I ordered it directly from VIS (which most people don't know you can do, provided you gotta sit on hold forever...) it was $329 plus shipping, VIS ships freight only, which was about $150 from CA to TN. If you are going to order from them, make sure you have a good size order ready (I got my fenders, hood, and front end all at the same time) because the shipping rate is the same no matter how much you ship and ordering just one item a time will wind up costing you way too much.

BTW, I know the engine bay looks rather dusty and messy in those pics, the whole car is in the process of being put back together after a recent engine and body reconstruction/repainting.

Just a quick question I thought I'd throw out here... I think it's because my car was originally sold in Canada, but does anyone else know why my title says SIR? It's been bugging me for a while.

i think they also do OEM style (stock). If not check on ebay. There is one for $350 Grade A shipping included.

Rice style?? They do make carbon fiber OEM hoods, fenders, trunk lids, and door skins, but I picked the particular set I thought looked best, the total weight difference between the carbon fiber fenders and the fiberglass ones is less than 1 pound. Rice??......
