Unhappy it doesn't want to come home....

I have a Fleetwood RV on an E-350 Ford....we just replaced the fuel pump and still have the same problem. It just quits. The thing will be running fine - a 4 hour drive to the river for a campout weekend - and on the return trip it just quits.

This has been going on since a year after we bought it new. I need to mention that on the maiden voyage in this RV, the MAP sensor got "blown". I had to limp along I-5 in CA to get it to a Ford dealer that could work on RV's. It was covered under warranty and off we went. But the problem continues.

We replace the relay everytime the RV quits. This spring, we replaced the fuel pump because it was not pumping out....or was it just the sensor thing screwing up the results?????

Here I am with an RV that will not go down the road. Any suggestions? Exactly what is a MAP sensor...can it be repalced? Did the wiring get screwed up or fried?

We have been trying to figure this out for some time and have taken it to two repair shops. The first repair shop replaced the relay; the second repair shop (the RV was driving fine at the moment) couldn't find anything wrong. Now we've went through the time and trouble to replace the fuel pump (and filter) and we are still having the same problem. I took the newly repaired sucker to the gas station to put in 10 gallons, and it crapped out a mile from the gas station on the way home!

HELP!

Sandy
