Talking Love the car (WRX) but still need lots of advice:(

Okay i have a 1997 sidekick im paying it of (i have a bout 4000$cnd to go) Anyway here is my big problem scince I an still paying it off I desperetly want a WRX. I took one for a test drive today (2004 loaded) and it was wicked...First off, With me still paying the sidekick off can I tarde it towards the WRX? Do I have to sell the sidekick to the dealership (probly only will get 2000-3000 for it) then pay the sidekick off THEN get the WRX??? :S and lastly Is it worth the 27000 price tag? I would be making monthly payments of 400$ for like 6 years.BUT I WANT IT SOOOO BADLY

I dont know what to do plz any advice?

THX

I think it is worth asking the dealership to see how much they are willing to give u for the sidekick. But like u said they will probably only give u between $2000-$3000 if they take it at all. Most dealerships will vary w/ their policies so you could try a couple of dealerships if you have a few near you. I know for my 05 sti I traded in my camry which I fully owed and they took the value of the camry off the price of the Sti but your situation is a little different since u still have an oustanding loan. I have heard of some dealerships that will pay of your corrent loan and will add or subtract the difference that they give you for your old car toward the loan on the new car. Its worth asking worst they will tell you is no but I think that they will work it out w/ you since they want your business. Good Luck.

Dude, you can't afford it....dont do it.

In the future, don't ever get a car or a loan structure in which you owe more than what your car is worth, like any american cars....and...eh...Suzuki's.

$27000? im sure you could get a lot btter of a deal then that on a 04 WRX. just go to 2 or 3 subaru dealerships and tell them this one is offering it for this price, and just let them start takeing the price down. Plus if they have an 04 still instock im sure thay want to get rid of it because they should be getting the 06's in soon. you should beable to get it for like $24000 OTD or close to it
