Programming Remote

I`ve read the post for 97 to 2004 and from 95 to 96. But I have a 94 Buick Regal Custom. Does anyone know how to Program a Remote for a 94? Also does anyone know were the main control unit is for the for the remote that activiates opening and closing the door`s? Thank`s.

The receiver is under the back package shelf between the speaker and the roof support on the passenger side. You have to remove the seat an some trim to get to it. To reprogram, find a lead in the trunk, near the rear power antenna. This lead is loose. When this lead is shorted, I pushed mine against the top of the antenna motor. You will hear the locks and trunk release cycle. While the lead is shorted, press the buttons on your remote(s).

If this doesn't do it, you may have to resolder the integrated circuits in the receiver. I had to do mine. I found the procedure at the Pontiac site on this forum.

i tried the lead but it didnt work. and for the soldering would you be able to explain a little about it? Thank`s for the reply to.
