Question 95 lumina struts

I have a 95 lumina , 130,00 miles . The left front strut is either broken or bad mount , clunking real bad . Can I just have the left side replaced or should I do both fronts ? And is a front end alignment required after replacing strut ? Thanks for any imput .

Re: 95 lumina struts

At 130k i would replace both, and get a alignment, i am not sure about the 95, but my 91 has strut cartrigdes on the front, you dont replace the housing. Also maybe your strut is fine and the top mount is bad?, have to pull it apart to see
