Question Keyless Entry

Does andyone know if it is possible for me to put keyless entry into my 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi? My father and I would like to install it ourselves, but don't know if we can modify the locks in the car. Would it be easier to just get it installed by professionals?

Did you check to make sure that it was not a stock option on your talon? My eclipse came with it as an option, but I never got the remote, so I had to go to ebay and get one, and then have a friend of mine who is a mechanic at a dodge dealership program it. (free ) I would check that first.

If not, that depends on how much you and your dad know about instaling that type of thing. I don't think you have to modify the locks, but there will be some wiring involved. Not a real easy task from what I know. Might be easier just to pay a pro. to install it for you.

It came with the Home Link Package (Home Link, which is a built in garage door opener, alarm, and keyless entry). Not sure about other years and models, but that was how I figured it out. You should be able to submit the VIN to (mitsu dealer a.k.a. satan) and he should be able to tell you if your car came equipped.
