Mass Air Flow Sensor Help!!!!!

Hello Everybody..i Have A Mitsubishi Galant Japanese Model (in Usa This Car Is Model 92) Made In Venezuela..i Have A Problem With The Mass Air Flow Sensor Of My Car..i Found A Replacament Part But Is For American Model And Not For Japanese Model.what Is De Diference?? The Pin Conector..my Car Use A 7 Pins Conector From The Car At The Mass Air Flow Sensor And The American Model Use A 6 Pins..in Both Model Only 6 Pins Are Conected But The Plastic Conector Are Diferent. I Want To Know If I Can Use The American Part On My Japanese Mitsubishi Galant..and If Is Possible Change The Conectors Whitout Make A Damage At The Computer Car..thanks!!!

hi i had a couple of lancer's and the uk model had 6 pins and the import model uses 7, yet my uk galant uses 7. so you could try finding one from another country
