weird noise please help

hi,


i now have a 1997 honda civic dx. and when i have the car at ide there is a weird noise coming from the left of the engine if u are out side looking at the engine.its coming the the left on the bottem sounds like something is grinding or rubbing in there and if i press my clutch in it goins away. and when i drive it sounds like its rubbing real hard.any 1 know whatthat could be.

Do you have a diffent clutch in it? Do the transaxle have fluid in it? Do you smell anything? Is the rubbing like a grinding or a rubbing?

more like a grinding sounds. and then when i press the clutch in it goes away.
