cluster

i got a 2000 s10 and it did not come with tach in the cluster i was wondering if i got a cluster with tach would it just plug right in or would the connection be different and also would it matter if the other cluster came from a truck with a 4 cyl or 6 cly i have heard of someone puting in and cluster from a bravada into a s10 and i dont see y not all the same just dont know if it should be changed with one of same size motor

I don't know about the wires, but I would think that your fine. Just take 1 from the same year.
You might have to run 1 or 2 wires to make everything work.

You'll need a tach from a truck with the same # of cylinders. I don't know but there might be a switch on the back to flip from 4 to 6 cylinder
