Yamaha YZR-M1 Rossi Progress thread

Hi all, here are some pics of my progress of Rossi's Yamaha YZR-M1 from Tamiya...added with Tamiya's upgrade shockers set, Studio 27 PE & CF decals. More pics to come soon. Enjoy.

Are the Gauloise decals the Tabu designs ones? I have these on order but have never heard of the company, are they good to work with?

Yes, they are from Tabu. And yes, they can conform to shape pretty easily with decal softener.

Really nice. The green tone on the exhaust looks a bit odd though, perhaps from spraying blue and yellow too close to each other? Or perhaps you have used green?

It turned out great, excelent paint job, very nice I must admit. Allthou I agree with Joel, green is looking odd.

I used clear blue and clear orange over Alclad II...I was trying to get the bluish effect...
