low coolant light
i was driving today in my 97 z24 cav, n i hit 4 grand n shifted, as soon as i let off the clutch n back on the gas, the low coolant warning light flashed, i let off the gas and it turned off n hasnt been on since.
is tht a warning of a bigger problem about to happen? |

Re: low coolant light
Umm yeah... about to run out of coolant. You probably have a leak of some kind, either internal or external.

whats with all these cavalier coolant problems, it seems like every single cavalier eventually has problems with the coolant system... it sucks!

Re: low coolant light
That's lack of proper maintainence, or just regular wear and tear. The car is 9 years old. I know a lot of cars that don't make it that far. But yeah, coolant seems to be the weak spot sometimes. Oh, and word to the wise, don't buy AutoZone t-stats!
