BMW M Roadster

This is the Dragon kit, from a really long time ago! I set out to build all of the great, small convertible sportscars starting with the MG( Our family owned a B at the time) so the M was definitel yon the list.
How does it look unpainted?
I painted the interior bits red, chromed the exhaust tips and swapped in some wider tires, that's about it.
It's a fun kit, fairly accurate...even the wheels are staggered!
A good candidate to re-finish, right?

Re: BMW M Roadster

that kit, what kind of body is it?
painted plastc?
painted metal?
or is it coloured plastic?

hmm, i guess the real question in, how easy would it be to strip the paint?

It's unpainted, bare plastic. I think Dragon issued some pre-painted E36 M3 bodies, but this M roadster body is just molded red.

Re: BMW M Roadster

You said your family used to own an MG B? My dad had one of those a really long time ago, litte cars but from what he said they're a lotta fun. Nice roadster man, can't really beat the BMW M's. I've always wondered somethin though...what's the difference between a roadster and just a normal convertible?

Re: BMW M Roadster

The M was a little differnt over the years then the regular roadster. I think they just used the convertible name interchangeable tho. Did it come predecalled too? Does this come with an uptop option? Looks pretty much ok to me. Keep up the awsome work!
