My 92', 2.3l power locks have recently stopped working? It is not the fuse. Is there a relay switch? any idea's could help.

There is a circuit breaker located in the fuse box for the power locks, that might have given up on you.

the power locks are a positive pulse system, and there is a control module under the dash *somewhere*, my manual is with my car, which is getting a head gasket this weekend. find that, it might be your problem. also, do you have keyless entry?

Thanks, I'll check that out, but I don't have keyless entry.

Re: Power locks have stopped working?

On my '93 I don't think there is a control module but there are two relays, one for lock and the other for unlock. As far as I remember the positive pulse from the switch goes directly to the relay and the relay is connected to the solenoids.

The two relays are behind the drivers side sound insulator panels, they are left of the steering wheel column, mounted close to the firewall, they sit side by side mounted to a bracket.

Hope this helps
