Omaha, NE - HobbyTown Model Contest Sept 24

I just moved to Omaha and I was curious about a couple things.

First, anyone else in the area? Second, Is anyone (in the area) planning on participating in this contest?

HobbyTowns is sponsoring their 11th anniversary model contest. You can call one of the local stores for info.

Their website is www.hobbytown.com

I plan on entering at least 3 models. I'm just a beginner so I dont have any expectations but it sounds like fun.

My feature entry will be a 1/12 1969 Camaro RS/SS.

Good luck to all who plan to participate.

I live in Omaha. Well, during the school year anyway (College). I've never done much car model painting before. I've done some, but it's crappy quality work - just something to pass the time. I do more actual car modding instead.

But it's cool to find someone else who lives close to me!
