Fuel pipes in Escort

Hi!

This is about Ford Escort 1.4 (75 PS, year 1999).

I would like to know which fuel pipe leads fuel into the engine and which takes fuel back to the tank. Behind the engine, both of them have a plastic junction: one is red and another is white.

Please help me resolve this, because I'd like to attach a fuel saving magnet.

The supply line should have a slightly larger diameter than the return line.
