well i dont understand the response....or the reason for the question. So, no it can't be done, impossible......

any engine can be made to fit in any car with enough work, but for practical purposes no.

sure it could work, but you would probably have to customize the way the tranny mounts to the engine and make some custom motor mounts. Plus, the 300ZX engine was designed with two intake manifolds and two throttle bodies vs. one intake manifold and one throttle body on the 3000gt. It would just probably be better to drop a 300ZX engine in a 300ZX.
