dummy question: Cruise switch

hi friends.... i want to know that how to enable cruise in my car....where the switch is located?....is it something automatic?...and how it works in the car if its automatic.
please help.

If your car has it, the on/off switch and resume/hold is on the turn signal stalk, with the set button on the end of it.
