Rear Air Suspension

I have a 98' Silhouette and the air compressor for the rear shocks is shot. Dealer wants $500 + install. Trying to find an after market or used. Any thoughts or direction would be appreciated.

Junk yards or discount OEM dealers like GMPartsDirect.com. You probably aren't going to find an aftermarket compressor that is a direct replacement.

Try EBAY. I have seen many of the OEM rear air compressors on EBAY for around $35.00.

LKQ is a chain of salvage places that sells a lot on ebay. I just bought a replacement for our CD/cassette on ebay from them identical unit from 01 Impala). Selling the salvage parts on ebay makes perfect sense. All those interior parts and engines and transmissions have to go somewhere when the body gets totalled. Why waste the parts My Olds dealer (who had to calibrate the radio due to Theftlock) knew all about LKQ.
