Re: HELP! injector tuning problem

yeah, it will work... i rather get a full stand alone dough.. that unit cost about $300 right? a F-con Vpro cost about $800. or if u want a stand alone W some map in it (fcon has no stock map, ie the car will not start when the unit is installed, u need to take it to a dyno)

a stand a lone with a stock map, AEM, Apexi ....

SR w 750cc ??? why?? please don't tell me that u have the stock T25 turbo? and if not what Turbo r u running? why so much fuel? do u have enough air to go with the fuel? 550 cc is good enough... unless ur boosting like 1.5 Kpas

Injectors will NOT give u ANY hp!!! unless u RAISE THE FUEL AIR MIX...

u know, u still need to take it to the dyno, if u play w the unit and mess around, u could blow up ur motor.

i don't know bro, but a stand alone is well worth it. and a 750 cc injectors are over doing it..

the most a safc can correct is a injector that is 50% larger then stock. so with a stock 370cc x 1.5 = 555cc injectors. so if you run 740cc's then its too much for the safc to handle. it will run rich all the time.

Re: HELP! injector tuning problem

You guys underestimate the functionallity and budgetness of a tuned ECU. Standalones are great and everything, but tuned ECU with SAFC isn't far behind. Besides the fact that it is cheaper, you can make corrections before the change of a light. Found that out today.lol

OH, and 550cc will max out around where you need to start thinking about stronger internals. 615cc will be right about where stuff will start breaking. mynismo has a nice SR setup. Should see what he suggests...
