which rims for prelude.

AIght people I got an Electron blue 01 sh dropped about 1.5 front and back. Just wanted to know if 17's would fit on there with this type of ride height. Are they going to rub and crap? Would i need a really low sidewall because I don't want to go below like a 215/ 40 r17 on the tires because the damn potholes in my area would chew my rims up. or do yall think I should just stick with the 16's.

These pics of current ride height.

Re: which rims for prelude.

In my opinion... I think those type of spoke rims are ugly.

I have Motegi Racing DP6 Silver rims on my '01 Premium White Prelude.

i think motegi is the worst company to ever buy from, seeing as how mine are corroding like a live in a damn salt water fish tank or something.

Re: which rims for prelude.

Not to mention most of them are heavy as hell. But those look really good.

The Motegi DP6's weigh 19lbs. I believe, similar to stock.

Re: which rims for prelude.

5 or 6 spoke rims look a lot better on Preludes than any other type of rim IMO, and they're easier to keep clean.
