electrical problems to 2001 Rodeo?

What could be wrong with my 2001 Rodeo? My air/heat quit working along with the power windows and blinkers. Everything else works. I checked all the fuses and everything works.

If you have a trailer wiring harness installed try unplugging it.

Re: Re: electrical problems to 2001 Rodeo?

You were correct. It was the trailer converter box, it was all rusty and the wiring was bad so it was shorting out and blowing fuses.

Any idea why the breaks would be so spongy? When you step on them they slowly go down to the floor so you have to let off and restep on them.

Sounds like the master cylinder is on the way out.

Have you ever had the brakes bleed before? It could be air/water in the system too.

I had the master cylinder go out on me once (Ford F250), I felt a pop and then no brakes and then I slammed into the car infront of me.

Get this checked ASAP!
