Changing the intake gasket

The one that leaks constantly, you know. I'm getting ready to change it within the next few weeks. What all do I need to be prepared? My brother, who was a gm mech for nearly 20 years is coming in from ny for the 4th and is gonna do most of it. I just want to be ready, and know how much I am gonna spend.

You will need the intake gaskets (obviously), throttle body gasket if you plan on removing it, fuel injector o-rings for starters. Look at the top of the motor, see what else you have to take off to get the intake manifold off.

Re: Changing the intake gasket

Like ski says, you will need those mentioned parts and gaskets, and may need others as you get to wrenching on it. Go slow, take your time. The link Evans gave has a tab on top or off their Home that can direct you to that site's parts area, so you can get an idea of the $$$ for the parts.
