I dose depend who is the better driver of the two. But I would say the GS-T has him beat.

The GS-T by a tiny bit. that's with ALL things being equal of course(driving ability, traction, vehicle maintenence). It will be REALLY close, I think.

I saw an automatic 'lude at the track the other day, a newer SH and it was running high 16's, i don't think the guy was driving terribly well.

Driving ability has everything to do with driving an automatic, launching it wrong can easily add a second or more to their time. Shifting it manually or letting the tranny shift by itself can make a difference as well. There was a mildly modiffied Eclipse GST running a few weeks ago (automatic) and it was running a 14.3.

You're right about it not being an SH but doesn't the automatic come with 195 hp as opposed to the 200 in the SH? That's not a huge difference, the only difference between the base model and the SH is the ATTS (active torque transfer system) which is Honda's fancy name for LSD.

its not the same thing as a LSD. if it was, why would they call it ATTS for the prelude only? Also, SHs have been tested as slower than base ludes consistently

let me clarify this we started at 80 mph and then we floored it and my boost went up and i could resonably keep up i got to 120 faster than i thought it could but then again having a turbo goes along way incidently all the prelude owners in are shit themselves upon site :finger: and the TA was the only thing that would race me it was alot of fun since i could keep up kind of

...I'm not tryin to be a jerk, but I thought you meant you launched from a stop and kept up with a TA until 120. That not being the case, nicely done!

ATTS is similar to a LSD, but theyre not the same thing like PFC was inferring. I dont pretend to know the difference, however
