Question what size tires are too big or will not fit on my civic?

i want to get some rims and tires for my 91 civic hatchback. i want to know if 205/45 16's are too wide. will they rub or will they be fine? any suggestions on tire setups would help me alot...thanks... :alien: :flash:

Don't worry, you'll be fine. How much are you lowered or are you at all?

im kinda low

i have max speed coil overs and kyb's in the back and tokiko's in the fron and im down all the way. but when i get those rims ill probably set them to where the tires barely hit the top of the wheel wells.. or will 205/45 16's tuck in under the wheel wells? let me know what to expect and what to do ..thanks julio :alien:

nothing dumb about learning. go here. this talks about wheel offset. if ur looking for 16", look for a rim with an offset a little higher than 40+, 40 is pushing it i would say. and no 205/45 is not too big, but if u lower it alot, get 205/40
