Re: 2000 eclipse HID headlights

They have projector lights on Ebay and i dont want a conversion kit either. My headlights are foggy and they peelin so i would really like to buy a whole assembly unit. I wanna know if u can convert projector lights into HIDs???

i dont think you guys are understanding the difference between projector headlights and HID lights. projector headlights have a 'dome' shaped glass over the headlight(inside the housing) that 'projects' the light out. thats why they are called projectors. HIDs, however, are basically high intensity bulbs and a new more powerful wiring harnesses.

so there is not coverting projector headlights to HID b/c they are not related to each other. you can easily have HID projector headlights

If you have a celica, the why are you in this forum? Go to the celica forum and try to get those guys to group buy the headlights with you

the projectors don't cause the color. its the actual headlight bulbs that cause the lights to be a different color. you can buy bulbs that shine purple, blue, white, or the stock yellowish color. it has nothing to do with whether its a projector or not.
