yo gm and s10 frames are the same right so wouldn't a 94 or up bed and cab fit on and 82-93 frame anyone know for sure, let me know! thanks!

gm is the company, s-10 is the model. i don't believe those would fit, body mounts i dont believe will line up with the year differences.

They usually make small changes between the generations so you can't just drop a second generation box on to a first gen truck.
However if you find a nice cherry box for your truck it will work with a little extra work.
You'll probably have to change the wire conectors, and do a little drilling and weldind to make all the mounts work out.

The second generation box is probably a little wider too, so it might not look so good.
I've put a 98 Nissan box on a 85 Nissan truck and even though it doesn't look stock the differences sure look better than the huge rust holes in the origional box
