Buying a 325i

Hey all, I was just looking for a BMW, and I found a 1994 325i with 58k miles, rebuilt, has a salvage title, had a small accident. Was inspected by the state salvage department. It has M3 mirrors, front bumper and rims. Supposedly drives strong, nothing wrong with tranny / engine. [Its a 5 spd] Needs a new suspension and possibly paint. Now, if I could buy this car for 4000, you think it'd be worth the effort of putting maybe an Eibach spring / shock suspension, and maybe a new paint job? Or do you think I should stay away from this car?
