Calmini lift-tires not aligning correctly

Hi there, I am new to this forum, so thank you all for reading this. I just recently purchased the full suspension lift offered by calmini for my 2004 xterra. I went to get the steering aligned and it appears that the cambers are maxed out and I still have misalignment, alot of toe... I spend weeks reading feedback and everthing on the suspension lift before purchasing and once didn't come across anyone having problems with steering/wheel alignment. Anybody know if possibally the place that installed it for me did it incorrectly or is this a common problem with the calmini suspension lift? My knowledge on cars are pretty basic, so any response is appericated and I will do my best to understand. thank you all in advance.

Re: Calmini lift-tires not aligning correctly

Is your camber out, or the toe? You can get the toe set properly no matter what, it's just a matter of working with the tie rod adjusters, lifted or otherwise.
Is there at least 1/2" gap between the bottom of the upper control arms and the bumpstops? If not, you're too high.

follow up

Thanks for the response. I followed up with calmini and the tech support told me that the person who installed my lift most likely did not take a premeasurement and post measurement to ensure that there was a even lift of 3 inches all around, and that hte front is probally cranked up to high. Dropping it off agian tomorrow to have them look at it, thanks for the response and will keep you up dated.

I took it somewhere else and it turns out that the torsion bars were maxed out on teh front and there was zero room betwen the control arm and teh bumper. They cranked down teh torsion bars to have a 3/4 inch between the control arm and the bumper (calmini tech told me needed 3/4 to 1 inch) and everything fell into place. thanks for the help.
