Do I have to remove the air bag to actually replace this? If so do you know how to deactive the airbag? Does the dashboard have to come out?

Stuckey, You can disable the airbag by locating and removing the SIR fuse. (not sure of location on '95 bonne) I'm not quite understanding the temp. actuator mode though, what is it?

Are you talking about the blend air door actuator? This actuator is for the hot/cold switch. if this is the one, just take out the glove box insert and you can see it right from that hole. There will be a threaded rod hooked up to a plastic clip, To test this actuator,unhook the rod from the clip and see if the temp goes from hot to cold. If it does the actuator is bad.
