Transmission error code 68
Hey Guys,
The "Service Engine Light Soon",lite came on and a shop nearby checked it for $20 and said the error code is 68, "Overdrive Ratio Error" What does that mean and is it bad? I cannot see or feel any problems. THe Truck is a 1991 Chevy Suburban 2500 7.4L, four speed automatic. TBI, with rear air. 137K on truck, 65K on transmission. The transmission was totally replaced by the factory 65K miles ago due to a poor design recall on the original transmission.
