cheverolet cavalier 2001

what does it mean when your " Track Off "light comes on and off also, the check engine light will appear somethimes while the track off light comes on. When this occurs the car will either die( the battery light will appear) or the gears will hit so hard you feel like something is wrong with the transmission? What is that? Please I need help! Woman is distress!

well i had this problem i found out to be the plug on the tranny was loose check that and other than that have the code checked to see what it is sending to the computer.

i have the same problem on my car but it is some sensor up front that is fuckin up and shutting my track off
