2000 Astro power issue "yes I have searched"

I have a 2000 Astro van my driver power window has an issue, sometimes it works fine and then it just stops going down or up, I have to wait and then after a few minutes it will go all the way up and sometimes it stops and have to wait, its almost like it has a circut that cuts out if the motor works hard if you know what I mean, any ideas?
I am thinking the motor is going, but how can I test this?

Lightbulb Re: 2000 Astro power issue

Hello, most posible problem will be the contacts at the power window switch, you can clean it but you have to be very carefull opening it, as little springs can flight away...inspect the contacts and the wires connectors...normally is the switch contacts...we know the motor is working...I have fixed the same problem in a astro and dodge van.
